family photography

pricing & process

My job is to make space for you to actually enjoy being with your people, and to take the work off your plate.

No stiff posing.
No endless “what now?” decisions.

Just a simple process that leaves you with images you love and the support to get them into your home.

Let's Do this.

Because love belongs in your home, not lost in the cloud.

Family photos shouldn’t feel like another chore.

A full-service experience, designed to feel relaxed, personal, and fun

Sessions usually happen about two hours before sunset, when the light is at its most golden. There’s no official time limit. We move at your pace, take breaks when needed, and keep things relaxed and playful.

Whether we’re at the farm, your home, or another special spot, my goal is always the same: to help you feel comfortable, connected, and seen. There might be alpacas. There might be tractors. There will definitely be joy.

You’ll also receive a comfort kit at the farm with snacks, bug spray, sunscreen, wipes, and anything else you might need to enjoy the moment.

We shoot.

2.

About three weeks after your session, you’ll get a link to a slideshow of your fully edited images, set to music and curated to tell your family’s story.

You’ll have 24 hours to view it as many times as you like before choosing a collection. Collections range from $890 to $2490. No pressure. No sales call. Just space to connect with the images before making any decisions.

You see your story.

3.

After choosing your collection, you’ll get full access to your gallery for 30 days. From there, you can:

  • Download your included digital images

  • Use your print credit in a beautiful, personalized online store

  • Get help designing albums, wall art, or keepsakes. On your own or with guidance from me

The store is easy to use, with a video walkthrough and live chat if you ever need help.

You choose what to keep.

Here's what to expect:

How it works

Whether this is your first time working with a professional photographer or you’ve done a few family sessions before, my goal is to make this one feel like the easiest (and most meaningful) yet.

Before anything is booked, we’ll hop on a quick phone call so I can walk you through the process, answer your questions, and make sure we’re a good fit.

If it feels right, I’ll send a booking proposal and session guide, and your $390 session fee secures your date.

From there, you’ll get a beautifully designed prep guide with outfit tips and farm info, an optional consultation (in person or on Zoom) to help you feel extra prepared, and a short questionnaire before your session so I can tailor everything to your family.

Think this might be the right fit? Let’s chat.

Just so we’re clear, here’s what you’re not signing up for:

What This Isn’t

  • A rushed session where you feel herded instead of heard, and stressed instead of seen

  • A high-pressure sales meeting that feels about as comfortable as damp, sandy bedsheets

  • A gallery dump that leaves you with no guidance, and that nagging guilt of I really should print these… someday

  • A rigid “stand here, look here, stop doing that” kind of session—zero space for fun or real connection

Each collection includes:

Frequently Asked Questions

Because even the most relaxed photo sessions come with a few question marks

Do you offer mini-sessions or cheaper options?

Sometimes—but only on special occasions, and always with specific restrictions. If and when I do offer shorter sessions (like half sessions or After Dinner Sessions), they’re usually last-minute and announced exclusively through my [newsletter link].

For most families, a full session is the best fit—but if minis happen, that’s where you’ll hear about them.

What does the session fee cover?

The $390 session fee covers everything leading up to your images: a phone consultation, a detailed prep guide, an optional farm visit or Zoom call, my time photographing your family (with no stopwatch running), and my availability for planning, questions, and weather coordination. Artwork and digitals are purchased separately afterward through collections.

I just want digital files, no prints. can i get a discount?

The short answer: no. Here’s why—most people love their photos but never get around to printing them. Life’s busy, and another “someday” project isn’t worth paying for.

That’s why every collection includes both digitals and a print credit. The system makes ordering simple (no pushy sales meetings), and it guarantees you’ll end up with something real in your home—not just files that sit on a hard drive.

Can you help with designing a wall gallery/album, or hanging things up?

Yes, but these services aren’t included in the base collections—they’re available as add-ons for an extra fee.

If you want them built in, the Legacy Collection is your best option. It includes a $1,000 print credit, artwork delivery and installation, accident protection, and custom gallery/album design—basically a white-glove approach for families who want everything handled start to finish.

What’s included in the collections?

Each collection includes high-resolution digital files and a print credit to use in your own online gallery store. The store is simple to use, stocked with museum-grade products, and guaranteed to last a lifetime. You’ll also get a personalized video walkthrough so ordering feels easy and tailored to you.

For families who want more support, the Legacy Collection adds bonuses like artwork delivery and installation, accident protection, and custom gallery/album design.

Why use this kind of system?

Because it blends the best of both worlds. All-inclusive sessions are simple but often leave families with files they never print. In-person sales make sure you print, but can feel stressful and rushed. This system gives you time, flexibility, and support—so you get the ease of digital files and the joy of seeing your photos in your home.
